How we got started...Pot luck!

It was that period between Christmas and New Year's.  Neil and I were having our morning tea discussing what we wanted to do that day/evening. We thought it would be fun to invite some friends over for a dinner party, but after the craziness of having all the children home for the holidays I wasn't quite up for putting together a big dinner.  Then Neil suggested "Well, what if we ask everyone to bring a dish?"

So after a few round of text messages out to friends, it was agreed to meet at our house at 7 pm and everyone would bring a dish!

Here is what everyone made;

Jen and Neil...Turkey Tetrazzini
Ann and Dave...Mom's Hungarian Goulash
Theresa and Nathan...Roasted Fennel
Ellis and Greg...Mixed Green Salad and Spicy Cheese Crackers
Favorite beverage of choice 😉

I also made Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream for desert, which we enjoyed while watching the movie "Bottle Shock".

We had such a fun evening all together that we agreed we would try to have these dinners once a month.  And so the Concord Supper Club was born!
