God save the Queen




Everyone had been busy with summer travels, so our next Supper Club happened in Aug.  It was back at our house and the theme was British Cuisine!  I usually make a lighter version of Shepherd's Pie, but we decided to go all out this time and make Gordon Ramsey's full carb/full fat version!  So why stop there??  We also made Yorkshire pudding, our family holiday favorite, with gravy of course!

Here is what we had;

Jen and Neil...Welsh Cheddar and English Stilton cheeses with Branston Pickle and Pickled Onions, Shepherd's Pie, Yorkshire Pudding with gravy
Theresa and Nathan...Mixed Green Salad and Roasted Cauliflower
Susie and Steve...Vintage Port 1992
Ann and Dave...English Trifle

We ended the evening by all watching the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympics!

We started with cheese and pickles...very British😋


Hmmm...are you supposed to eat on top of a flag?  Shh...don't tell anyone! lol
Even Mr. Giraffe got dressed up!


Wales was represented!
